ORIENTATION AND TRAINING:

The Transform 2010 general conference will take place in Rome, Italy, prior to the outreach in Spain. Orientation will include:

• - teaching on integrating art and faith;
• - practical exposure to language, culture and religious context;
• - how to explore and create within a different cultural context
• - development and preparation of ministry ideas;
• - team building

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION:

The focus will be to reach out to the European and North African people found in this major port city. Ministry will involve visiting and working alongside local artists. Participants will work towards supporting the ongoing efforts to establish a local gathering space designed to reach out to the Spanish and North African immigrant communities, through exhibits, workshops, and artist exchanges.

Activities could include; connecting with local artists, visiting galleries, building on the relationships began in previous years, creating and hosting an art exhibition, hosting
                                                           art workshops in partnership with the local church, prayer walking and/or creating a
                                                           large public art event.
